OUR MISSION

ŠK Mladosť mission in the field of sport is to promote values of equality, fairness, respect for persons, understanding, and excellence, emphasised by Pierre de Coubertin, which span nearly 3 000 years of Olympic history. We believe that sport values such as fair play, respect for diversity, friendship, tolerance and mutual understanding are vital for personal development.

Alongside to sport activities, ŠK Mladosť has a rich experience with implementation of a large scale of educational projects and is active in preparation of projects in the frame of the Lifelong Learning Programmes, the European Territorial Co-operation Programmes and other European centralized programmes in the field of sport, education and training, individual mobility and international partnerships. The ongoing international activity of ŠK Mladosť is the Erasmus+ project called INCLUSION FIRST, which is developed in cooperation with the University of Malta.

Activities of ŠK Mladosť and the projects of the European Union

ŠK Mladosť is grateful for all the support from both national and foreign stakeholders. As Slovakia is one of the Member States of the European Union, of particular importance are the projects co-funded by the European Union. You can find more about them under the heading of ERASMUS+, RUN-SWIM-LEARN, INCLUSION FIRST and PRESS RELEASE on our official website.

RUN-SWIM-LEARN is a slogan and logo of ŠK Mladosť. However, under this heading, ŠK Mladosť developed also the Erasmus+ project, which was co-funded by the European Union. The project Run – Swim – Learn! In the Spirit of Pierre de Coubertin addressed a topic of education in and through sport in light of the European policies in the field of sport. One of the core project outcomes is a performance portal with the same title. We are proud about this portal as it reflects the very best of the project consortium coming from three beautiful countries – Slovenia, Finland, and Slovakia. More details on this initiative can be found on the project website www.run-swim-learn.eu
