Meeting Conclusions in Bratislava

The core discussions of the transnational project meeting of the Erasmus+ project called INCLUSION FIRST reflected a preparation of the booklet Run and smile, which is intended to be one of the project outcomes. On behalf of ŠK Mladosť, a story template was prepared and introduced to the project team. It concerned a topic of sport and culture and featured by Jordana Palovičová, leading Slovak pianist who is involved in sport environment with activities of the Slovak Olympic Academy and naturally SK Mladost actions. Moreover, SK Mladost has already addressed proposed thirteen Slovak personalities and introduced them a purpose of the booklet Run and smile.

Representatives of the University of Malta introduced nine amazing Maltese personalities and gave detailed information on aspects of social inclusion of each selected person. The proposed names of Maltese personalities are a subject of approval, and they will be consequently contacted about their interest to be part of the booklet Run and smile.

The project participants agreed that a preliminary choice of personalities well respects the intentions of the project INCLUSION FIRST. It will assure that the booklet Run and smile will present a great diversity in terms of covered sectors of society, inclusion areas, various sports and disciplines. The project representatives noticed that it would also provide a high balance of gender equity despite it was not the main purpose of the project.

The consortium members approved that the prepared booklet with selected personalities would not have the same structure as agreed before in order to have the stories more diverse and richer. However, as foreseen, there will be very similar core questions for interviews. Articles about each person would contain a profile information and a part on questions and answers. The participants emphasised that provided pictures must have an approval of the authors to prevent any issues with copyrights.
