Bratislava Setting Stage for Collaborative Advancements

The inaugural day of the INCLUSION FIRST project meeting on Friday, 5th April 2024, commenced with a warm welcome from the project coordinator, highlighting the profound significance of collaborative efforts funded by the European Union. Representatives from ŠK Mladosť in Slovakia and the University of Malta delivered compelling presentations, showcasing innovative approaches aligned with EU values.

Amidst the main proceedings, participants engaged in immersive cultural experiences across Bratislava. From exploring historic landmarks to experiencing the city's vibrant cultural tapestry, the surroundings provided an inspiring backdrop for discussions on pertinent topics, reflecting the essence of EU-supported initiatives.

The afternoon session featured a comprehensive overview of project progress, emphasizing ongoing communication channels with the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA). Discussions centered on the review of deliverables and delineating responsibilities within the SyGma project framework, underlining the EU's commitment to transparency and accountability.

Simultaneously, at the French Institute, the "Road to Paris 2024" exhibition attracted luminaries from art, sports, and diplomacy, epitomizing cultural convergence. Accompanied by French diplomats and Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee representatives, the event celebrated shared values promoted by EU-funded initiatives.

As dusk descended, delegates enjoyed a mesmerizing piano concert at the Academy of Fine Arts, deepening their appreciation for Slovak cultural heritage. The evening culminated in the #BeActive Evening, fostering discussions on the project's tangible outcomes and promoting social inclusion through sports, embodying EU values of unity and well-being.
