INCLUSION FIRST

The very first virtual meeting within the Erasmus+ project entitled INCLUSION FIRST, which is co-funded by the European Union took place on 5 January 2023. The participants coming from ŠK Mladosť and the University of Malta discussed notably preparation of project outcomes, such as a handbook with an appealing name RUN AND SMILE. It is a collection of inspirational stories that will focus on intergenerational dimension of sport, role of health enhancing physical activities and sport values. The name strives to inspire readers to practice any kind of physical activity while enjoying its positive aspects and well-being.

The participant agreed that there will be various areas covered by a collection of inspirational stories, through which it will be demonstrated how sport supports social inclusion. A common feature of all the stories will be its structure, which will include profiles of personalities, their views, testimonies, references, statements, and messages for Europeans.

Through one-word titles, an environment from where the personalities come from will be immediately comprehensible, such as EDU, ECO, DIGI, EU, SCIENCE, INNOVATIONS, RESEARCH, HEALTH, WELL-BEING, DIPLOMACY, CULTURE, PRO, etc. Vivid pictures will illustrate motivational experiences and intertwine them with relevant EU sport policies in order to approximate EU sport agenda to non-governmental sports movement, local level included.
