INCLUSION PLUS Launches in Malta with Strong Team Engagement and Sporting Spirit
Malta, January 2026 – The INCLUSION PLUS project officially kicked off this month with its first Transnational Project Meeting, setting a dynamic and well-structured start for all partners. The meeting established a shared understanding of project objectives, clarified individual roles, and aligned expectations, providing a solid foundation for the work ahead. Early discussions around the PLANET SPORT concept and the INCLUSION PLUS platform ensured that all partners started on the same page, reducing potential fragmentation in later project phases.
The gathering was not limited to boardrooms. A coastal walk and light physical activity session offered a unique opportunity for partners to connect informally, fostering trust and strengthening interpersonal bonds. These moments of engagement underscored the project's emphasis on collaboration and inclusivity, which are central to its mission.
Adding a sporting highlight, the team participated in the 10 k Attard race, where they showcased both endurance and teamwork. A victory in the 55+ category emphasized the high physical level of the participants and mirrored the project's objectives of promoting active participation, health, and community engagement. This achievement illustrated how the project's values extend beyond strategic discussions into practical action.
While the meeting successfully laid the groundwork for the INCLUSION PLUS project, reflections highlighted opportunities for improvement. More structured moderation of initial discussions and a clearer definition of quality standards at this early stage could further support consistency and effectiveness across project activities.
